History Of Hogwarts(HARRY POTTER)

Hogwarts was built in the year around 990A.D. by four greatest wizard and witches of that age Godric Gryffindor(Gaurav Garudwar), Salazar Slytherin (Nagesh Nagshakti), Rowena Ravenclaw (Chandrika Chilghat), Helga Hufflepuff (Maya Mehnatkash). 

It was built in Scottish Highlands and concealed with numerous charms and spells to make it impossible for Muggles to trespass. 
It is popular wizarding theory that Rowena Ravenclaw came up with the name of Hogwarts after dreaming of warthy hog that led her to a cliff by lake. 
It is Rowena Ravenclaw who came up with the idea of changing stairs, Helga Hufflepuff was the one who came up with the theory that they will have elves in the kitchen to cook food. 
The school had a huge property with large sloping lawn, a lake and a forest called as the forbidden forest, the forest has many magical creatures such as centaurs, trolls, unicorns, thestrals, hippogriffs and many more. 

Once they created the school, each created their own house. 

Gryffindor wanted students embodied with bravery, nerve, courage, daring and chivalry and the coat of arm he choose is lion which definitely went along with bravery trait.

Hufflepuff wanted her students to be most loyal, patient and honest, she chose a badger as her coat of arms. 

Ravenclaw wanted her students to be most intelligent, have the most width, cleverness, creativity and wisdom, coat of her arm that she chose was an eagle. 

Slytherin wanted his students to be the most ambitious, cunning, resourceful and most of all he wanted the students to be pure blood(means a child born from two magical parents), the coat of arm he choose was a snake to go along with his rare ability to speak with snakes.

Each house had their own common room. 

Gryffindor common room was on the seventh floor hidden behind the portrait of the fat lady and to get in students have to tell a password.

Slytherin common room was located in dungeons underneath the black lake hidden behind a stone wall and to get in students have to tell a password just like the Gryffindor’s. 

Ravenclaw common room was located on the highest tower and to get in students have to solve a riddle given by the eagle on the door knocker. 

Hufflepuff common room was located near the kitchen and to get in students have to tap a fake barrow in the rythm of Helga Hufflepuff. 

After choosing students for long years and running the school founders weren’t sure that how students will be sorted after they came to hogwarts. 
So Godric Gryffindor took his hat and all four of them enchanted it to sort the students long after their death and named it the Sorting Hat.

Every founder left behind a relic which they used during their whole life. 

Godric Gryffindor left behind his goblin made sword which has the ability to present itself to a true Gryffindor in need.

Rowena Ravenclaw left her diadem which is special for its power of wisdom. 

Salazar Slytherin left his locket with a S engraved on it. 

Helga Hufflepuff left her small golden cup with a badger engraved on it.
